The Strasburg Bear Factory

Hi everybody! My name is Big Strasburg and I have been chosen to write this week's beary story. Well, unlike Chad and Snuff, I'm not going to write about my humble beginnings, but I am going to write about the place I came from, the Strasburg Bear Factory.

The Strasburg Bear Factory was a store my owner Holly and her daddy would go to in the town of Strasburg, Virginia. They found this shop one day when they were leaving the town, and Holly spotted a sign reading, "Strasburg Bear Factory." She screamed, "Bears, bears, bears!" Her daddy stopped and they entered the store to find the nicest lady in the entire world-Sally.

Week after week, they would come to the shop, buy a bear, and chat with Sally for hours on end. Holly's daddy and Sally would talk about grow-up things, while Holly would attempt to talk to Sally's son Chris, who was a very good looking young man.

Unfortunately as with anything good in life, the bear shop was closing. Holly and her daddy were very upset because they so loved the shop and when it went, they had no reason for visiting Strasburg, so the weekends spent out west slowly came to an end, and they gradually forgot that Strasburg existed.

Even though they don't go Strasburg anymore, in their hearts resides the memory of Sally, Chris, and the Strasburg bears that shaped their lives.
