Bigfoot's Story

Since Baxley is gone and with him the stories us bears so liked to read, my owner has decided that we (me and all my beary friends) should write a little story about our adventures each week. This week is a feature on Chad Bear, one of my owner's friend's favorite guys! Take it away Chad!

Hi there everyone! This is my first time actually writing anything other than my bearschoolwork. I don't know what to write, but Bigfoot told me to write something down, so here I am typing away on Holly's computer.

Well, the latest adventure I've had is coming here to live with Holly at Wilson College. I have lived my entire bear life with Laura (my stepmommy) and Daddy, so coming to Wilson was kind of scary for me! I am only a little bear! Anyways, Holly said that she needed some bear reinforcements at school to help her battle what she calls "the annoying ones." I was called for bearduty! So, she packed her stuff in the car, and put me on Bigfoot's lap and away we went down Route 7 to Interstate 81 to Pennsylvania!

The car was a scary place, but Bigfoot and Holly reassured me that everything would be alright and that I was safe. That Holly sure knows how to treat us little bears!

After about two hours on the road, Holly stopped the car in front of a row of buildings and said, "Welcome home Chad! This is Wilson College." Well, it didn't look anything like my school at home, it looked worse! I didn't like the look of things outside, but once I got inside her dorm room, I felt fine! There were so many bears there and this really nice girl named Janet was there to take care of me too! Things have been great here at Wilson except for the next door neighbor who smokes and clogs up my little bear lungs!

That's my adventure to Wilson College! I really like it here, Holly and Janet take good care of me, and I hope that things stay the same for a long time!
